Ghana records 18 new Mpox cases, total now 346

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed 18 new cases of Mpox, bringing the total number of recorded infections in the country to 346.

The death toll remains at one, with no new fatalities and no current hospital admissions.

Per the last update on August 7, 2025, the GHS urged the public to remain vigilant, avoid close contact with individuals showing symptoms, and promptly report any suspected cases to the nearest health facility.

The Service added that it is working closely with its regional directorates to trace contacts and coordinate the national response.
